Dr. Sharda Kosankar is working as a Senior Scientist at CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur. She has done M.Sc. B.Ed. and Ph.D. from Nagpur University and started carrier as a project assistant at Environmental Impact and Risk Assessment Division at CSIR-NEERI Nagpur in year 2003. I have eighteen years of research and professional experience in the field of environmental Sciences. I am recipient of various fellowships like Senior Research Fellowship of CSIR, research Associate of CSIR, Woman Post-Doctoral Fellowship of UGC. I worked for almost 60 EIA projects of different sectors and Research project on methylmercury for DST Govt. of India. I have published 30 research papers in different International and national Journals. I received four best paper awards in different conferences for my work of Ph.D. I have done my Ph.D. on “wastewater treatment by Vermitechnology” and post-doctoral research on “Anerobic biogas energy generation by wastewater treatment”.

Our ultimate goal is to have a worldwide network of Ambassadors who communicate with each other and who can help put pressure on corporations and governments to do what is right, because we believe the changes the world needs will happen only with the support of concerned citizens in every country. And that means every one of our Ambassadors can know he or she is not only part of the solution, but a leader in helping to create a better future for everyone.
