ATLED is an environmental association which deals with a wide variety of subjects and part of Friends of Nature International. Created in 1999 in the Wilaya of Béchar, ALTED is today an association present in 10 regions offering various projects and activities. The environment is particularly important to us, whether it is waste prevention, the fight against climate change or environmental education. We pay special attention to sustainable tourism, to bring to those interested in the beauty of the Sahara in an ecological and socially sustainable way. ATLED works for the development of sustainable and inclusive tourism to give everyone easy access to vacations and entertainment. Our association aims to attract international tourists and get them to choose Algeria as a holiday destination. We work together with local partners in the rural environment, including women, while highlighting nature and cultural heritage. Our projects and activities include social tourism, national education, nursery and gardening, cultural exchanges, reforestation, anti-nuclear commitment and environmental education.
